Hydrodynamic and Floating Bodies Motion Analysis
- Time domain and frequency domain of sea motion analysis of floating
vessels.
- Time domain and frequency domain generation of dynamic sea forces on cargo
and vessels.
- Mooring analysis of a single floating body or a number of floating bodies.
Project Management and Site Supervision of Vessel Newbuilding and Conversion
- Generating preliminary design documents for tendering. Preparation of
tender job specifications and contract documents.
Providing expertise for
tendering and negotiating, on the Owner's behalf, with shipyards for newbuilding
and conversions.
- Providing on-site expertise for newbuilding or conversion of vessels in
the following areas:
- Review and approval of all plans and drawings, equipment and calculations.
- Survey of fabrication and installation.
- Liaising with Owners, builders, equipment suppliers, and Classification
Society.
- Monitoring of building/conversion progress.
- Execution of change orders.
- Conducting dock trials and sea trials.
Naval Architecture
- Full design consultancy for vessel conversion and modification.
- Vessel stability (intact and damaged) checks and calculations.
- Performing inclining experiment & deadweight surveys.
- Powering prediction of vessels.
- Structural scantling calculations and structural strength of vessels.
- Liaison with Classification Society.
- Generation of vessel conversion technical specification and contract
between Owner and Shipyard.
Offshore Structural and Installation Engineering Analysis
- Performing engineering analysis for the loadout of jackets, decks and
modules. This involves working out the required ballasting
sequence, barge deck
strength check and structural integrity of the structure during loadout.
- Performing lifting analysis of jackets, decks and modules. This involves
determining of the rigging arrangement and padeye checks
and structural
integrity of the structure lifting. Jacket launching and upending analysis.
Jacket On-Bottom analysis.
- Seafastening/transportation analysis of jackets, decks, modules and other
offshore appurtenances. This involves performing sea
motion analysis, generation
of dynamic sea forces and strength check of barge deck and seafastening.
- Finite element and space frame analysis of structures.
- Pile drive analysis, pile stick-up calculation.
- Offshore Pipeline Installation Analysis. This involves pipeline layaway
analysis, pipeline startup analysis, pipeline abandonment and
recovery analysis,
pipeline davit lift analysis and pipeline weld repair calculation.
